Call 1-800-266-3282. Provide Express Code to get authorization number. Required for cashing.

3

Go to the truck stop fuel desk or cashier

Tell them you need to cash a Comcheck. Have your driver's license ready.

4

Provide Express Code and authorization number

They'll verify the amount and process the transaction. May ask for truck number.

5

Pay any cashing fee

Fee deducted from cash or added to transaction. Ask about fuel purchase waiver.

6

How to Avoid Comcheck Cashing Fees

Buy fuel when cashing - many locations waive or reduce fees with fuel purchase
Get a Comdata Card - electronic deposits have no cashing fees
Use the Comchek Mobile app - load funds directly to your Comdata Card
Ask for the 'P' option - fee added to amount so you receive full cash
Cash larger amounts less frequently - one $500 fee vs. five $100 fees
Build relationships - regular customers sometimes get fee breaks

Understanding "P" vs "L" on Comchecks

"P" = Plus (Fee Added)

The cashing fee is added ON TOP of the amount. You receive the full Comcheck amount.

Example: $1000 Comcheck with $4 fee

You receive: $1000

Account holder pays: $1004

"L" = Less (Fee Deducted)

The cashing fee is deducted FROM the amount. You receive less than face value.

Example: $1000 Comcheck with $4 fee

You receive: $996

Account holder pays: $1000

Always ask for "P" when possible so you get the full amount you're owed!
